Cookie Policy

ORA ECHO LLC d/b/a AUREXECHO — Effective Date: January 1, 2025 — Last Updated: April 29, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and provide a consistent experience across sessions. Cookies may be stored for a session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistently (stored until they expire or you delete them). AUREXECHO uses cookies and similar tracking technologies — including local storage and session storage — to operate the platform and improve your experience.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES These cookies are required for the platform to function. They enable authentication (keeping you logged in), session management, and security features. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies without disabling core platform functionality. Examples: • app_session_id — authenticates your session and keeps you logged in • csrf_token — protects against cross-site request forgery attacks FUNCTIONAL COOKIES These cookies remember your preferences and personalize your experience. Examples: • aurex_lang — stores your preferred playback language per series • aurex_theme — stores your display theme preference • aurex_volume — stores your last playback volume setting ANALYTICS COOKIES We use anonymized analytics to understand how users interact with the platform. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. Examples: • _ga, _gid — Google Analytics session identifiers (if enabled) • Internal analytics identifiers for page view and feature usage tracking PAYMENT COOKIES When you initiate a checkout through Stripe, Stripe may set cookies on your device to process the transaction securely. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy).

3. Local Storage and Session Storage

In addition to cookies, AUREXECHO uses browser local storage and session storage to save your listening progress, language preferences, and player state. This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except when you are logged in and progress sync is active. You can clear local storage and session storage at any time through your browser's developer tools or privacy settings.

4. Third-Party Cookies

AUREXECHO may load content or services from third parties that set their own cookies. These include: • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy) • Cloudflare — CDN and security (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy) • Amazon Web Services (S3/CloudFront) — audio and image delivery (aws.amazon.com/privacy) ORA ECHO LLC does not control third-party cookies and is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

5. How to Control Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: • View and delete existing cookies • Block cookies from specific websites • Block all third-party cookies • Clear all cookies when you close the browser Note: Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using core platform features. Browser-specific instructions: • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data • Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. AUREXECHO does not currently respond to DNT signals because there is no industry-standard interpretation of what DNT requires. We will update this policy if a standard is established.

7. Cookie Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies are retained for the following periods: • app_session_id: 30 days (or until logout) • aurex_lang: 1 year • Analytics cookies: up to 2 years (per provider settings) You can delete persistent cookies at any time through your browser settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

ORA ECHO LLC may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of AUREXECHO after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the platform or by email.
